Allow Your Strengths to Overcome Your Fears

Society has a strange habit of trying to tell us what type of men, fathers, husbands and boyfriends we should be, yet has little to no understanding of who we are, the unique strengths we have to offer, or the stressors we face. This often leads a lot of men like you and me to pursue lives that don’t mesh well with who we are as a person. It pushes men like us, to look for success, approval, acceptance and love in inappropriate places. I am here to work with you on addressing feelings of anxiety, depression, anger, and destructive addictive behaviors so you can be free to pursue and obtain the things that matter the most to you in life. Overwhelming feelings that typically lead to misusing alcohol, weed, pills, isolating yourself and binge watching pornography and masturbating can be a thing of the past.

The Power of Regulating Emotions

Assisting men learn how regulate feelings of anxiety, depression, stress, addictive behaviors and redirecting the behavior that follows is my passion. Allow me to work along side you to help decrease feelings of low self-esteem, stress, anxiety, romantic relationship strains, addictive behaviors, and overwhelming emotions of anger. We can find out what it takes to increase confidence, communicate effectively, break free of addictive behaviors, and sort out feelings of anger and frustration. Whether you are an entrepreneur getting ready to launch your first start-up, a CEO, a personal trainer, a stay at home dad, or working an 8-5, figuring out what keeps you on point is our objective.

Why Do I Care?

I understand the mixed signals society sends us, the pressure it puts on us to perform, and the confusion experienced when things just aren’t working out. Whether you struggle with addiction (or addictive behaviors with weed, pornography, alcohol, pills, masturbation, or extramarital affairs), romantic relationship stress, family dynamic conflict, past traumatic experiences, or the need to make sense of the struggles men face (work stress, performance anxiety, depression, panic attacks), contact me. Together we can navigate and overcome barriers to reach your goals.

Call/text or email me to see if we are a good fit and begin the process of reaching life changing goals. You already have the strengths and skills to overcome the barriers in your life, let’s find out what is holding you back.

About Me

If you scrolled down this far, it means at least one thing I typed above resonated with a part of your life and made sense to you. Awesome! I am glad you are here. My name is George Fuentes, LMFT and I am a husband, father, son, and brother. I pursued licensure in Marriage and Family Therapy to help people like you and me make sense of life and get the most out of it. I have struggled with stress, anxiety, addiction and negative thoughts about myself and my capabilities. I know it isn’t always easy to get up and find the motivation to do the important things in life. I have often said, “If you can’t say you are enjoying your life, it is time to make some changes”. Although this is true, it can sound more like a “feel good statement” without any understanding or action. Allow me to join you in making sense of your life experiences and struggles that have simultaneously qualified you to overcome obstacles that may come your way.

Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It’s an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It’s a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.
